So what do you know? We ask Tom Clinton, Insolvency Solicitor, what makes him tick?
What piece of wisdom would you pass on?
Don’t worry about what other people think of you, only trust the opinions of those that are close to you.
Persons who most influenced your life?
My parents, who have supported me throughout my life and have made numerous sacrifices in their own lives for the betterment of mine
Why did you become a lawyer?
Growing up, I always respected the admiration lawyers garnered in society for their legal minds and prowess. In some way, I hope to garner at least a fraction of that admiration.
Biggest mistake/regret?
Not travelling around Europe watching the Wolves play. Somewhat optimistically I believed Wolves would have many more seasons playing European football – I am still hopeful that day will come again.
Favourite film?
The Godfather – no explanation required.
The person from history you would most like to have a pie and pint with?
Che Guevara – I’d like to understand from the man himself how all of his travels and experiences forged such a memorable dynasty, and to hear his thoughts about being regarded as such a controversial historical figure.
Greatest invention ever?
Much like my esteemed colleague Richard, I too believe that beer is difficult to trump.
Favourite song?
An impossible choice, but if I had to be pushed to answer it would be Supersonic – Oasis.
Pet hates
People who refuse to make a round of coffees in the morning.
TV or Radio?
TV, I’ll take watching a boxset any day over any radio station.
Favourite food
Takeaway of pretty much any variety – nothing is better after a long day than having a takeaway and a beer in front of the TV.
