Director Disqualification Specialists Shortlisted for two Legal Awards, 2017

Neil Davies and Partners shortlisted for small law firm of the year and Neil Davies as partner of the year.

Having won the Birmingham Law Society’s prestigious Law Firm of the Year Award for 2016 (up to 4 partners), we’re delighted to have been shortlisted for the same award this year. Not only that, but our director and senior partner, Neil Davies, has also been shortlisted for the Partner of the Year award. Given the large number and quality of law firms in Birmingham, to be short listed (along with 4 other firms/partners in each respective category) is an achievement we are really proud of. All will be revealed at the gala dinner on 9th March.

The Largest Law Society in the Country and the Most Prestigious Legal Awards

The host of, and speaker at, the awards (held at the ICC) is the BBC’s former Chief Political Correspondent, John Sergeant, which means we will be in for an entertaining night.

The serious side, of course, is that The Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards have been going since 2002, serving to highlight and recognise the best of the region’s legal talent, and every year the event is a sell out. Importantly, The Awards are open to firms and individuals who practice law in the Midlands, including paralegals, trainee solicitors, solicitors and barristers.

About NDP – Specialists in Director Disqualification, Insolvency Law and Commercial Litigation

Founded in 2007 by Neil Davies and Sukhbir Mall, we concentrate on providing legal advice to our clients in three main areas: Director Disqualification, Insolvency Law and Commercial Litigation. Our approach is demonstrated by our strapline: “Solutions for your Business Problems”, and our mantra that it’s never too late for us to make a difference for our clients.

The last year has been a busy one, with 3 new staff joining us and with our client base growing in the West Midlands, across the country and internationally too. It’s also been a fun one, especially when Stephen Spielberg and his film crew camped outside our offices and transformed the area for scenes from his new blockbuster, Ready Player One.

We aim to find solutions and deliver results

In the areas of law that we specialise in, where (for example) a director suddenly receives a notice from the Insolvency Service that they will be making an investigation which could lead to a director disqualification, there is often no time to lose. A solution has to be found, and quickly, not least because the director will be in a highly stressed state about his/her – and the business’s – future.

We have built our reputation on responding quickly to clients facing disqualification or misfeasance claims, no matter the time or the day. We work quickly, thoroughly and effectively to find a solution using proactive and creative thinking. Of course, the proof of the pudding is in the results we get for our clients. “We’re delighted to have been nominated in two categories at this year’s awards” says Neil Davies. “We’re up against some really tough and talented opposition, which only goes to show the strength of the legal sector in Birmingham and the West Midlands.”
