Hayden Mellowship
Solicitor
Hayden Mellowship joins NDP as a Solicitor with five years’ post‑qualification experience, having qualified in January 2021. He arrives from Howes Percival, where he worked as an Insolvency Associate Solicitor on bankruptcy and liquidation matters.
His work at Howes Percival included winding up petitions, statutory demands and investigations into directors’ dealings. He also has strong experience of managing court documents and working closely with barristers, accountants and insolvency practitioners.
Before joining Howes Percival, Hayden was a Dispute Resolution Solicitor at Nelsons. He acted on commercial contract disputes, property disputes and insolvency matters. His caseload ranged from multi‑million‑pound commercial disputes to smaller but often complex boundary and landlord and tenant matters. This experience has given him a solid understanding of the commercial and practical issues that often sit behind disputes and the importance of clear, timely advice.
Hayden holds an LLM and LPC from the University of Wolverhampton, where he also gained his LLB.
Outside work, Hayden is a football lover. He has coached youth football for many years, working with teams from under‑8s through to under‑18s, and remains passionate about helping young players develop their skills and confidence.
