Thomas qualified as a Solicitor in Restructuring and Insolvency (“R&I”) in November 2020. He started his legal career as a paralegal in personal injury and then moved into employment law before specialising in R&I.
Thomas focused his period of recognised training on R&I and is accomplished in all aspects of corporate and personal insolvencies, including administrator appointments, the sale and purchase of businesses and assets owned by companies and individuals, and bringing and defending claims brought by insolvency officeholders.
In 2017, Thomas took on the responsibility of chairing a Charities Foundation in Birmingham, which raised £22,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Outside of work Thomas enjoys reading, walking his mischievous Scotland Terrier called Gus, keeping fit, travelling, learning Spanish and following Liverpool FC and Wasps RFC. He recently stopped playing amateur rugby after playing for nearly 20 years. During his playing days, he mainly played on the wing and represented Shropshire at County level and his local clubs Newport, Stafford and Gnosall.
